SVG to React Component Converter
Get a production-ready TypeScript React component from any SVG. The generated component accepts standard SVG props, spreads them onto the root element and strips the unnecessary xmlns declaration that triggers React warnings — ready to drop straight into your codebase.
How to use
- 1 Paste your SVG markup into the editor, or drop an .svg file anywhere on the page.
- 2 The React Component tab is already selected — the component name is derived from your file name.
- 3 Copy the .tsx code with one click, or download it and import it like any other component.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use the generated component?
Import it like any component and pass standard SVG props, for example <SampleIcon width={24} height={24} fill="currentColor" />. Props spread onto the root element.
Why is xmlns removed from the output?
React handles SVG namespaces itself; keeping xmlns causes a console warning, so the converter strips it from the root element.
Does this work with React Native?
This output targets web React. For React Native, switch to the React Native tab to get a react-native-svg component instead.
